How the odds work
The server reads the token's thesis feed on FOMO. Only theses posted after the previous spin count: every round starts with an empty wheel, and a writer who wants to be in the next one posts again. Each writer enters once per round, with their most liked thesis of that round. An entry gets 1 base ticket plus one ticket per like, and its odds are its tickets divided by all tickets on the wheel.
No entry may hold more than 20% of the wheel. Anyone over the cap is held at it and the surplus is shared out among everyone else in proportion to their tickets. The slice each entry gets is drawn to that exact share.
A round ends every 5 minutes, on the clock. At zero the server freezes the wheel as it stands, draws two random numbers from its cryptographic source, and the first one picks the winner by share. Every open page then plays the same spin and stops on the same spot of the same slice. Between rounds the wheel is redrawn whenever the feed changes, so likes given while you are looking move the odds live. Nothing here touches a wallet.
